This is Vistosi's version with the large murrina in the center of the body. Designed by Alessandro Pianon. Made of opaline milk glass covered in dove grey. Mouth-blown glass and hand-opened. When turned on, the gray almost disappears to leave an amber/white color. Pianon and Vistosi added a 4.5 cm wide murrina that captures the light. Again, when it's not lit it looks like a mix of black, white and grey, while when it's lit it shows shades of yellow and jade green. This is a rare piece. Vistosi assumed leadership of the glass industry in the 1960s thanks to Pianon, Sottsass and Gae Aulenti. The hardware has been replaced with beautiful natural brass hardware and black silk cord.
