This striking black-and-white photograph captures two horseback riders in the expansive desert landscape of the American Southwest, likely from the 1960s. The riders, both wearing classic cowboy hats and rugged attire, stand on their horses against a backdrop of rugged mountains and barren terrain. He began his career as a photographer in 1920 and was one of the first to use a Leica camera.
