Middle flat … Read more An incredible empire desk: a piece of furniture in very good condition that you don't often come across! Middle flat empire desk in flamed mahogany with five belt drawers with gilded bronze entrance. It rests on four lion claw feet ringed with bronze, joined by a turned wooden spacer. Top with its original green leather (in great condition!) framed by a golden vignette, embellished by two shelves of prints on the sides (one of them has a varnish defect, see photo). Period: 19th century. Style: empire - consulate. Condition: very good condition. 4 drawers on one side and a dummy front for the reverse (the two sides are therefore identical - except for the buttons which differ a bit). Its dimensions: height 73 width 143 (open 204) depth 80cm. See less
