These vintage serving pieces are made by Manning & Bowman- founded in 1832 in Connecticut. They are made of silver plate with ebony handles, and have a nicely aged patina. The spoon includes the company mark, "Manning Bowman Quality" on the back. I love the contrast of the silverplate antique design with the more simple wood handles, and the smooth feel they have in the hand.
