About the Artist: John Botz (1925-20030 Studied in Pennsylvania and Washington and was influenced by Matisse and Dufy. He studied in France and settled in Southern California where established his style of painting. In 1950, he established a studio (atelier) in Laguna Beach, a resort area in Southern California, and devoted himself to art for the rest of his life. less
