The jar, likely produced post-1968, reflects the enduring quality and aesthetic of traditional Delftware, adorned with intricate hand-painted patterns in rich shades of blue and inscribed with the word “Toeback,” a Dutch term for tobacco. This historical reference nods to the jar's original purpose as a tobacco container, transformed now into an elegant and functional piece for modern interiors.

The lamp is paired with a custom-made pleated lampshade, made from a vintage Indian silk sari in complementary tones of deep blue, beige, and red.
