The sculpture is made out of Elm wood and is slightly tapered towards the top. Like TOTEM poles tell a story, this sculpture in particular is a representation of the transformation from a solid form into a liquid, whereas the liquid form transcends into recognizeable shapes such as persons holding and lifting each other or a bird. less
