This vintage English sideboard has been given a new look with recent ebonized (painted) and decoupage finish over solid wood construction. The smooth, rounded top surface is alive with illustrations of flowering bulb plants and butterflies framed by a decorative border. On the paneled door fronts to the left and right sides, which open by turned wood knobs integrated with a door latch, each panel offers a different arrangement of illustrations. The ebonized background accentuates the dreamy glow in each framed scene. A stack of drawers in the center have a slightly curved front, they are minimally decorated with butterflies and a lightly painted gold trim. The top drawer is divided into three convenient sections.
