Enormous copper pot from England, circa 1850, with beautiful verdigris patina. Possibly used as a cauldron for washing linens, the early-industrial time period is evident in the construction methods such as the folded edge at the top and riveted seams along each sheet of copper. Today, the pot could be used by a fireplace as a unique place to store firewood, or even a planter! Its aged finish will only improve with time. Please view the detailed images less
