These amazing hand-painted … Read more Offering a remarkable pair of Chinese porcelain Peacocks, Phoenixes or possibly Pheasant figurines, circa Mid 20th Century. These amazing hand-painted birds are absolutely beautiful with many colors throughout the head and the body. They are a book-matching pair, meaning they each face different directions. One bird faces one direction and the other bird faces the opposite direction. This is done for display so they can face each other on a Mantle or display shelf or credenza.

The head of the bird has a yellow beak, purple around the finely detailed eyes, turquoise and yellow around the neck portion. The bodies of the birds are light green and blue with fine black detailing of the feathers and the tail is light green with black detailing. The birds are perched upon a tan colored branch with green leaves with yellow and pink flowers at the base. Unsigned.
