The inside lined in … more A lovely mid century Japanese silver and mixed metal rectangular hinged box on squat shaped feet. The inside lined in Indian rosewood. Stamped SILVER 0.950. Circa 1950.

The decorative Niello inlaid river landscape scene is double sided.

There are a few small pin prick size dents to the exterior and another slightly larger to the front, along with surface scratches commensurate with use and age. There are a few blemishes to the mixed metal. The lid opens and closes very well. less
