A magnificent French picture frame made from bronze and smothered in gold, beautifully restored to it's former glory and ready to adorn the finest of homes for another 100 years.
The top is crowned with a pair of Swans drinking from a fountain and the eau de nil taffeta silk is mounted with various cherub or putti motifs.
The central aperture will accept a picture measuring 5 3/4" x 4" with the overall size of the frame standing 11 1/4" tall x 7 3/4" wide.
Dating to c.1900, this is a stunning frame in excellent condition. Signed on the rear E. M & S over B.
