The artist or manufacturer of this sculpture is unknown but this piece is believed to be designed and produced in former Czechoslovakia. In the 1960's the bird motive was particularly popular in the Scandinavian countries, mainly in Denmark and its very likely that it has influenced this piece as well.

This is outstanding, wonderful set of a family of three birds in a perfectly crafted form, sculptural, but with very clean, expressive lines depicting the form of the animal. The sculpture is made of teak wood and is standing on a base in a shape of an extruding sharp angled rectangle. This detail actually just underlines the whole dynamic of the form and its outstanding execution.

This sculpture is in great original condition. There is only absolute minimal wear gained over the years. See less
