Here is an exquisite oil painting of Pebble Ridge, winner of the Welsh Grand National and owned by Lord Glanely, a British ship owner and racehorse breeder. The painting is signed lower left by the artist, Ethel C.R. Browne, a renowned painter of the Queen’s horses and dogs in the early 20th century. This is a large, stately piece finished in an ornate gesso frame, deserving of a special place above a fireplace mantle or in a foyer entry of a home.
