- This marvelous set of 4 President spoons are created in gorgeous silver plate by Wm, Rogers Manufacturing Co. Each spoon … more This marvelous set of 4 President spoons are created in gorgeous silver plate by Wm, Rogers Manufacturing Co. Each spoon has the president's bust at the top of the handle, followed by his name. The bowl of each spoon have a significant event that occurred during that presidency. Spoon 1: President George Washington, the 1st US president with Mount Vernon in the spoon's bowl. Spoon 2: President James Madison, the 4th president of the US with spoon bowl embossed with the USS Constitution and the War of 1812. Spoon 3: President James Monroe, the 5th president of the US with spoon bowl embossed with N/S America/Monroe Doctrine. Spoon 4: President Herbert Hoover, the 32nd president of the US with spoon bowl embossed with Progress in Aviation. Hallmarks include: Wm. Rogers MFG Co., IS. Measurements for these fabulous creations are: Length from top to bottom=6 inches, width of bowl at widest=1-1/8 inches.
