**During the Dark Ages, German natives in northern Bohemia developed a form of glassblowing unique in the 4,000 year history of this art. They learned this skill from wandering Venetian traders, and created glass ornaments to adorn the Tannenbaum (fir tree) for the winter solstice festival. Early Christians adapted this custom to celebrate the birth of
Christ and the Christmas tree was born.
After World War II the Krebs family moved from Bohemia to Rosenheim, Bavaria, Germany, to continue the tradition. During the postwar years our family built a reputation for fine traditional ornaments, developing the exclusive colors and designs for which we are known
