Vintage unusual & rare Buddha & Chinese Zodiac design amongst heavily etched background on large brass tray with scalloped lip.
Minor evidence if at all of the usual signs of age that comes with these trays, sometimes used as tables.
Such as patina, scratches, stains.
Pitted.
The only real obvious sign for the most part on this Oriental brass tray is the streak, shown in the photos (2).
Over all inspection leads me to believe this tray to be closer to 1940 since a brass tray stamped with "Hong Kong" could date back as far as the late 1800s up until 1950. However, it is near perfect in every way too much so to be that old.
