The base is signed by Georg … more Bronze patinated, the standing Pied Piper with pipe, on a rectangular base with rats. The base is signed by Georg Hengstenberg (1879-1959). Decorative bronze figure in Art Nouveau style around 1910. Height 61cm. The Pied Piper goes back to a legend in 1284 in Hamelin, recounted by the Brothers Grimm.
