Absolutely exquisite pair of fully restored, hand dyed Cigar brown leather, Chesterfield Tufted Baron footstools. These stools have been on …

Absolutely exquisite pair of fully restored, hand dyed Cigar brown leather, Chesterfield Tufted Baron footstools. These stools have been on a journey of restoration, the leather has been replaced by a third generation trained Victorian upholsterer, he has used fully aniline premium Italian cattle hide leather which is upholstered plain as was the tradition, the hide has been hand nail tacked in place using vintage antique brass studs, the boarder has twin studding all around, the leather has then been hand dyed six times, antiqued, sealed, waxed down and polished, the frame has been lightly French polished in such a way so as to keep all the original age and patina The end result is a truly sublime pair of vintage stools in better than new condition Dimensions Height:- 36cm Width:- 60cm Depth:- 42cm Please note all measurements are taken at the widest point, if you would like any additional or specific measurements please ask. Condition Please view the very detailed pictures as they form part of the around condition Please note vintage period and original items such as leather seating will always have natural patina in the form of cracking creasing and wear, we recommend regular waxing to ensure no moisture is lost, also hand dyed leather is not recommended to sit in direct sunlight for prolonged periods of time as it will dry out and fade.
