The table has a beautiful warm walnut color and patina, and its proportions are perfect for an entryway, hallway or sofa table. The console table features three inset drawers with beautiful, hand-made dovetail joints. The apron is finished on all four sides, therefore, the table does not necessarily need to be placed against something else. The legs are hand-turned, connected with an I-stretcher, and sit on bun feet. The top is made of two long boards with straight edges, dovetailed into the apron, Throughout the pegs holding the joints together are clearly visible.
This is a very well-built table that would work perfectly as a console, but can also be used as a writing desk having a 58cm (22.8in) knee clearance. See less
