Description: Beautiful set of hand carved and hand painted wall sconces, from Florence Italy circa 1960’s.

These were more readily available in Europe, but a few made their way to the U.S. The design was eventually purchased by a U.S. maker who then made them out of a heavy resin.

These are from the original design and maker. Made of wood, these are a lot lighter than the reproductions made in the 80’s and 2000’s. Even the reproductions are hard to come by, as they were made in limited numbers by other high-end manufacturers.
