This rare 19th-century cast iron Race Horse bank by J & E Stevens Co., patented on August 15, 1871, is a beautifully patinated and finely crafted piece of Americana. Measuring 5 inches high, 6.75 inches wide, with a 4-inch base, this early example, possibly a first edition, showcases realistic racetrack features with its polychromed multicolored finish.
