The iconic three legged stool created in 1933 by Finnish ground breaking designer Alvar Aalto for his and wife Aino
Aalto’s firm Artek. This example from no later than the 1950s, has over the years developed a lovely deep honey like natural patina to the birch bentwood details. The original vinyl textile is in equal good condition, making this sculptural piece a great choice not only as a very functional stool, but also a small table or even a pedestal for another favourite piece of art. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
