Bryk was an internationally known artist and designer who won numerous awards. She received first prize at the Milan Triennale in 1951 and first prize at the Vallauris International Ceramics Competition in 1972. She received the Pro-Finland Medal in 1962, the Finnish State Prize in 1974 and the City of Helsinki Medal in 1978.
