Large polychrome majolica amphora with an ovoid body and handles with winged sphinxes. Decorated in the round with a mythological motif depicting the ascent of the gods to Mount Olympus. The masterly pictorial rendering was created by the Troisi brothers active in Castelli and then in Sesto Fiorentino in the early 1900s. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
