In the first painting, in front of a curtain, there are portraits in the foreground of five putti frightened by the capture of a lizard held in the hand by one of them; in the other a group of six putti partially covered by red drapes are gathered around the exchange of coins between two of them. In both we see a wooded landscape in the background. The two ancient panels with cherubs are presented in a modern gilded frame in good condition, with some small woodworm holes (they have been disinfected) and have a consistent finishing varnish. They were made in Italy in the mid-1800s. See less
