Stable craquelure, in-painting, varnished. There is a very light scuff mark on and above the lady's hair. There is a tiny hole to the right of the portrait. The white board on the back is for the purpose of protecting the canvas. The frame shows some light cracking, as does the insert. The insert shows some rubbing to the paint and a little paint loss to the lower left. Please see all photos to see exactly what I have described and feel free to ask any questions you may have prior to purchase. It is an amazing example of fine English portraiture. Presents very well. A solid example of the Victorian era. less
