Rolland was a well-know mycologist who was the president of the Mycological Society of France. He traveled extensively to research several hundred fungi worldwide and worked with artist Aime Bessin (1870-1942) to publish the illustrated "Atlas des Champignons" in a 2 volume set in 1910. These chromolithographs are from that series. Each is numbered at the top. Together, they make wonderful wall decor in a kitchen or restaurant. The 4 prints are in excellent antique condition consistent with age and history. Image size is 6.5 x 9.75 inches. See other set of mushrooms from this grouping. Message us if you are intereted in all images in the series. less
