This is a magnificent round perimeter leaf table by Leighton Hall Furniture. This is a unique prototype table made in the shop. It is Prototype #2. Prototypes are sample tables made in the process of developing the final table design.
This table features beautifully book-matched crotch mahogany in a radial pattern around the table. There is a medallion in the center. The table has extension arms to support the five outside perimeter leaves. The stain is an antique mahogany color and the finish includes distressing to give the appearance of a naturally antique table from the 1800s. See pictures of the checking, file marks, dings, etc. in the finish in the pictures attached. It has a satin sheen. The table is finished to produce the appearance of an antique table from the 1800s so that it will easily blend in with existing antiques.
The pedestal is the standard LH-1082P birdcage pedestal with four fluted columns and four fluted legs which terminate with antique brass lion’s paw feet.

When this table’s design is finalized and put into production, the retail price is estimated to be in the $14,000 - $15,000 range.
