robert haussmann, a swiss architect, designed the seat as a tribute to his idol mies van der rohe. Similarities can be drawn between the famous barcelona seat and the rh301. For example, the frame is made of hard steel with a high-gloss chrome finish. The webbing that supports the cushions is also made of heavy harness leather. The separate cushions for the back and seat are upholstered with piping and high-quality leather, including the buttons.
