The sculptural wooden … more Rainer Daumiller is a furniture designer who was born in Germany and emigrated to Denmark in 1959. The sculptural wooden furniture represents Daumiller's love for natural materials and his connection to nature. The artist's work is strongly influenced by the ideas of the Austrian philosopher, social reformer and architect Rudolf Steiner.

The designer designed the Daumiller armchair in 1977 and is now his best-known design. The chair was recently re-edited by Gubi and is currently experiencing a renaissance.
