Lane Atlavista was one of the many higher-end furniture makers that prospered in the 20th century, especially after WWII. A family-owned manufacturer that prided themselves on building stylish, unique pieces. The company line offered multiple products for the living, dining and bedrooms. This buffet is made of cherry wood.
The finish is even, clean and without fading. The drawers open and close easily. The pieces is heavy, and structurally perfect.
Smoothly sliding doors open to reveal adjustable storage shelving. Distinctive grain patterns and warm patina are evidence of the age of this early 1950"s piece.
