- This spectacular example of a reproduction Chippendale camelback settee came from an upscale estate in Southern Virginia, along the border … more This spectacular example of a reproduction Chippendale camelback settee came from an upscale estate in Southern Virginia, along the border with North Carolina. The settee is well constructed, solid, and sturdy; consequently, we believe that it was constructed in the 1960s to 1970s by one of the fine furniture manufacturers that operated nearby. It appears to be in immaculate condition with new upholstery. We have discovered no flaws or imperfections. The settee measures 53 1/2 inches wide, 28 inches deep, 33 1/2 inches tall at the crest, and the seat is 20 inches above the floor. less
