This stunning and highly rare Mid-Century Modernist Tulip Console Table in Brass & Stainless Steel W/ Smoked Glass Top by Karl Springer originates from the United States, Circa 1970. This piece features a substantial base rendered in stainless steel with linear brass detailing rising along the outer edges of the support, with a central cylinder of brass affixing the curved steel elements to the rectilinear base. Beautifully proportioned with a smoked glass top that lends a sophisticated and reserved presence. This console table is an excellent example of the design practice of Karl Springer, known for his intelligent use of materials and bold geometric elements. A part of Springer's Tulip Series, named for the expansive and blooming form of the expanding steel. Glass top can be customized to your specifications and dimensions.
