Original putty gray paint has overall crackle. Likely used as a kitchen work table as during WWII newspaper was put on the top for work and the ink transfered to the table, so there are areas of newspaper printing scattered over the table top. Very well made and sturdy, long and narrow with room for seating. A bit narrow but can accomodate 8 chairs and place settings, but little room for serving dishes. Good solid sturdy condition, with overall wear, crackle to paint and distress to top. less
