While they had many designs, one of the best-known designs was the cast metal base with a half-globe reverse-painted shade. The shades often showed scenes from nature. Ours shows a log cabin with trees and mountains, the same scene repeated on two sides. It is in beautiful condition and provides a generous warm glow to any room. It is about 20" tall with the shade about 16" in diameter. The base is 8" diameter and is lined with felt. less
