Design Plus Gallery presents a Larchmont Table by Barbara Barry for Baker Furniture. This style of table has a characteristic feature that seems impossible but allows a fusion of classical straight lines and strict forms with the asymmetry of luxury and splendor. The frame is made from solid wood walnut and treated with a special formula which preserves the natural color of wood and prevents from damage. There are brass capped feet, a total of six that are all connected with an X-shaped stretcher. The surface has alternating grain patterns in squares. The extensions add additonal surface when easily installed. There is a visible scratch to the surface, overall considered to be in good condition for its age + use.
