In good condition apart … more Hans muller bust of man with pipe late 1800s signed in italics behind the left shoulder. In good condition apart from minimal chipping on the edges of the stone of the base. The man, of advanced age and dressed in an overcoat, is portrayed smoking a pipe with a lid on the stove; it has a dark patina and bears the mark of a triangle in the lower part containing the letters bm in block letters while in correspondence with the corners we find the letters aeg. It probably corresponds to the brand of the foundry that made the casting.

the austrian sculptor hans muller was born in vienna in 1873 and worked there until his death in 1937. A disciple of edmund hellmer of the vienna academy of art, he is known for his figurative sculptures of figures from viennese society this piece has an attribution mark,
