Félix Lecomte (1737-1817) sculpted Marie-Antoinette, then aged 28, in 1783. This sculpture is the official and most famous portrait of the Queen. Marie-Antoinette poses with her royal Fleur de Lys coat lined with ermine. Her high, trendy wig is decorated with flowers and ribbons.
