Description: Coming from a fine local Westchester New York estate, we have a great pleasure to offer you this RARE Antique … more Coming from a fine local Westchester New York estate, we have a great pleasure to offer you this RARE Antique English PAIR of reverse Painted Apothecary Display URNS / Vases converted to LAMPS. These beauty queens were made in the 19th century, superb quality work, made of glass. Center of each urn / vase features a phenomenal painting of a Royal Coat of Arms, which is set over the burgundy red color base. On the sides they feature animals, butterflies and flowers in a continuous wrap-around scene. They are made compliment each other as a "left & right", hence not identical. Original glass urn bodies were later capped and affixed on raised round giltwood bases, as they stand now, each with with wire cord coming out of the back, to serve as lamps. Each lamp has a single bulb socket, and (generic) arching harp that is topped with a cute ball form finial. Condition is very good, light use / age wear if any (please see photos). Size is large 28.5" tall overall to the top of the finial, 21" tall to the light bulb socket, widest point is 9", and the gold base is 10" diameter wide. This pair will be the most pleasant daily sight your eyes can beg you to have ! less
