ONE-OF-A-KIND IN LOOK AND STATURE. This spectacular, original wrought and cast iron chandelier is gothic in character. While its maker is not known, it is reminiscent of Samuel Yellin's* style, Yellin being a renowned Pennsylvania iron worker of national fame in the 1920s. We believe this fixture was made in Germany.
Hanging by three recurved wrought iron "chain" formations, this hanging pendant has three winged dragons facing outwards. There are three large, cone-shape, curved mica shades (specially made) hanging from the dragons' tongues. In addition, the center light pan six standard bulb lights. We customized all the mica throughout the fixture and added the holders for the outside mica shades and the ceiling canopy.
FULLY RESTORED to black, completed with bent mica panels in the central bowl section, and multiple interior lamps; plus the three lamps within the mica cones. READY-TO HANG at any drop-length over 52", this chandelier makes a striking presence deserving of a tall space for full impact. (An additional 24" of gothic chain is included if more length is needed in a very tall room.) The center light pan is 18" in diameter.
