A beautiful set of 18th Century Bird Botanical Prints feature a series of birds in a blue, grey, white, brown, yellow, and green color palette. The art set has lovely details throughout presented in marbled designer mats, beneath glass, in quality giltwood frames with floral detail at the corners. A secure wire is attached to the back of each frame - ready to hang vertically.
The art selection is by Georges-Louis Leclerc, Comte de Buffon (1707-1788) from Histoire Naturelle des Oiseaux with engraved illustrations after drawings by Martinet, printed at the Imprimerie Royale in Paris and professionally framed.
