Based in NYC, his studio focuses on the fusion of art and science described as the synergy of form and function, poetry and technology, appearance and performance. Accordingly, this piece was designed as a serving dish and/or a stand alone sculpture. No longer in production, this particular design is unique in that it is made from Nambe’s proprietary alloy of 8 metals, yet covered in copper. It weighs almost 9 pounds! The versatile minimalistic design makes it appropriate for so many design settings…MCM, modern, minimalism, organic modern. See less

As seen in … moreThis stunning piece is in excellent vintage condition with no chips, dings, or scratches on the surface. As seen in the pictures, the bottom has a couple of scuff marks. The copper has purposely not been polished resulting in a gorgeous deep patina. Of course, the piece can be polished if that is your preference. less
