The copper has purposely not been polished resulting in a gorgeous deep patina. Of course, the piece can be polished if that is your preference. less

Based in NYC, his studio focuses on the fusion of art and science described as the synergy of form and function, poetry and technology, appearance and performance. Accordingly, this piece was designed as a serving dish and/or a stand alone sculpture. No longer in production, this particular design is unique in that it is made from Nambe’s proprietary alloy of 8 metals, yet covered in copper. It weighs almost 9 pounds!
