- These comfortable rattan chairs were gifted during the 1960's to the Loretto Convent in Wheaton, IL and were part of … more These comfortable rattan chairs were gifted during the 1960's to the Loretto Convent in Wheaton, IL and were part of a larger collection of furnishings that was sold in 2017. They were touched up when I recieved them and need to have cushions recovered. Both chairs are in good shape and only one shows a bit of wear at the top edge. Both show a bit of wear on the legs. There is no signature or manufacturer labels or markings. The brass detail and style makes them a perfect accent chair for a casual space. Ficks Reed has been a top manufacturer of rattan for decades and these were made when craftsmanship was at its finest. less
