Fun, colorful promotional ashtray from the beloved Le Bon Marche retailer. The central image is of a cornucopia of fruits & vegetables with the inscription "Loyaute fait ma force" (Loyalty is my strength). The exterior consists of a ring of locations for the shop Biarritz, Le Caire, Vichy, Alger, Toulouse. Maker's mark en verso: "Pomone" Atelier d'Art du Bon Marché (art department of the store) plus an unidentified impressed mark.
Fair vintage condition; glaze chips on edges & 2 large chips on underside which are not readily seen when in use.
