James R Pascucci (1928-2015):
James was an artist whose work was stimulated by the painting relationships that express the mood color and light of expressionism. This interplay, as well as a love for coastal New England, has led to a profusion of beach and harbor scenes that are the hallmark of his work, Jim was also captivated by the beauty and color found in nature and its surroundings, he found inspiration in a variety of subject matter: gardens, flowers, barns, fences, antique shops - all provide an impetus for visual translation into a landscape or still life that evokes a memory or sensory connection.
