This piece does not have the original … more Here is a fantastic highboy dresser from the mid-century attributed to Broyhill 1969. This piece does not have the original fabric sticker, but I found one that sold a few years ago with that information. Regardless, it's definitely an amazing piece from a reputable maker. The highboy/tallboy has 5 total drawers. The top drawers have a vertical wood design. Below, the center drawer is slender and has incredible circular carved wood designs on the front. Below are two larger drawers with lovely geometric moulding. The dresser does not have hardware, but instead the pulls are integrated into the drawers! The body of the dresser is solid wood, while the top is lacquered wood veneer. It's very durable. Please notice that the sides of the dresser are slightly raised above the tabletop and that it's not a perfect rectangle. The entire piece sits on 4 wood tapered legs which can be unscrewed.
