19th century directoire influenced mahogany tall chest of drawers, circa 1890.
fine quality tall chest in the directoire style. Fitted with 6 drawers of equal proportions and detailed with cock beaded edging that has been carried out in brass. Original ornate handles and key plates. Fluted detail either side of the drawers in gilt/
brass edge around the top surface. Standing on block feet.
recently re-polished in our workshop. Minor surface fading to top surface. Brass beading no longer present to back legs. Minor surface marks and restorations to woodwork and metalwork.
