A smart and very well made antique leather Gainsborough armchair. This was made in England, it dates from around the 1900-1910 period.
The quality is superb, this is a nice early model with a gorgeous patina. The leather has just the right amount of wear and has a lovely colour tone, we have had this revived by our leather restorer.
The wood has also been re-polished, this is in very good condition for its age, with just some minor wear remaining beneath the polish here and there.
