If I didn’t know it was French I would think it was from the Glasgow School with the Macintosh design, totally iconic from the handles to the designs to the front. It could have been a pupil from the Glasgow school or simply a follower. Its also extremely good quality which can be seen from the dovetails to the drawers.
Anyway it has real presence and now-days would make an amazing vanity in the bathroom or simply a chest of drawers. Made from solid Oak which we have bleached to lighten and in overall excellent original condition for the home.
